Accenture seeks partners to spread AI know-how | SunStar

ACCENTURE Philippines is looking at collaborating with colleges and universities in Cebu to spread awareness of artificial intelligence (AI) and encourage students to take up AI-related courses. Arvin Yason, lead for technology at Accenture-Cebu Delivery Center, said in an interview that the AI phenomenon is happening and will disrupt the way businesses operate, dynamics in the workplace, and people’s everyday lives. “There is already a prevalent innovation community here and they are swinging toward more machine learning. The potential is here and we are interested in partnering with the academe,” said Yason at the sidelines of the Shaping the Future Forum held last week in Cebu at Oakridge Business Park. The forum gathered technology professionals and college students to enable them to learn and experience new IT in Accenture. More than 200 attendees in Cebu were given the opportunity to listen to the innovation stories of Accenture and learn from industry experts. It also showcased how Accenture develops its talent, “future-proofing” their careers to help clients succeed in the digital revolution.
