ADESA parent explores how best to deliver sales

Hallett: Serving in every channel ADESA extended its reach this month when its parent company wrapped up the $283 million acquisition of Brasher’s Auto Auctions. KAR Auction Services Inc. also formed a data science solutions group this month. The new unit uses data gathered from past vehicle sales through the company’s many auction channels to create predictive analytics that can help customers find the most efficient marketplace for their vehicles.
