Assistant Professor, Cognitive Neuroscience

The Department of Psychological and Brain Sciences at Dartmouth College seeks applications for a tenure-track appointment at the rank of Assistant Professor (entry-level or advanced) effective July 1, 2017.  Applications are invited from individuals who have exhibited excellence in independent research and are able to provide high-quality teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels.  We are interested in applicants who study the mechanisms underlying human perception and cognition.  Specific research areas of interest include, but are not limited to perception, attention, memory, and decision-making.  The department is housed in a state-of-the-art research and teaching facility that houses the Dartmouth Brain Imaging Center which has a research-dedicated 3T MRI scanner.  Dartmouth College is an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer with a strong commitment to diversity and inclusion.  We prohibit discrimination on the…
