BRAZILIAN GIRL GETS 18TH PLACE IN WORLD BRAIN BEE

It wasn’t easy, but 17-year-old Lorrayne Isidoro made it. She got the 18th overall place in the 2016 Brain Bee World Championship. It is, without a doubt, a victory for the girl who overcame numerous obstacles to get where she is. Lorrayne has always studied in public schools at lower income neighborhoods, had to study on her own during her vacations to complement her education, and almost could go to the competition due to lack of money and problems to get a passport.
