Chair, Department of Neurosciences – University of Toledo
The University of Toledo College of Medicine and Life Sciences (UT-COMLS) seeks candidates for the position of Professor and Chair of the Department of Neurosciences. The department is in an exciting phase of growth and faculty expansion. Significant resources are available through the recent academic affiliation agreement signed between the UT-COMLS and the ProMedica Health System, a non-profit health care system in northwest Ohio and southeast Michigan (http://www.toledoblade.com/attachment/2015/08/26/UT-ProMedica-affiliation-agreement.pdf). The successful candidate will lead a dynamic, nationally recognized department located on the University of Toledo Health Science Campus. Research within the department includes neurodevelopment, synaptic and non-synaptic signaling, sensory function, traumatic brain injury, MRI analysis of human brain plasticity, and drug abuse.
