China to Use Artifical Intelligence in Next-Gen Cruise Missiles

WorldChina is eyeing artificial intelligence for its next-generation cruise missiles.(Photo : Getty Images) China is planning to incorporate a high level of artificial intelligence and automation in its next-generation of cruise missiles, according to a senior designer. “We plan to adopt a ‘plug and play’ approach in the development of new cruise missiles, which will enable our military commanders to tailor-make missiles in accordance with combat conditions,” Wang Changqing of the China Aerospace and Industry Corp told state-run publication China Daily.  Like Us on Facebook Advertisement “Moreover, our future cruise missiles will have a very high level of artificial intelligence and automation,” Wang added.
