Cuba and Russia Assess Joint Projects on Neuroscience

Science Monday, May 23, 2016 Moscow, May 23.- Representatives of the Cuban Neurosciences Center and the Biocubafarma group assessed today with different Russian institutions their joint projects in pursuit of improvements in the quality of life of patients with disorders of the central nervous system. Dr. Luis Herrera expressed confidence in the fact that close interaction between both countries in this field will contribute in the medium to long-term to improve the quality of life of patients suffering from these disorders, which will represent a great social benefit.For this purpose, representatives of Neurosciences and Biocubafarma are currently in Russia in order to work with different local institutions, the source said.According to Herrera, Cuban scientists are establishing procedures for assessing the risk levels among the population…
