While this is not wrong, this reasoning leaves out the most important part of the process, for example, making actionable information out of the raw data.Big Data has become so prevalent in the business lexicon that it now seems to refer to any data-related project. The confusion had its benefits in the early days as it helped businesses understand the value of their data.Big Data does not convert data into actionable information. Big Data does not create value.
