Dr. Frank Vrionis to head Boca Raton Regional’s Marcus Neuroscience Institute — 7 highlights

Boca Raton (Fla.) Regional Hospital named neurosurgeon Frank K. Vrionis, MD, PhD, the director of the Marcus Neuroscience Institute. Here are seven highlights: 1. Dr. Vrionis will fulfill his new position on Oct. 1. 2. In his new role, he hopes to further research the causes of neurological diseases as well as develop new treatments. 3. He currently is the chief of neurosurgery at Moffitt Cancer Center and serves as a neurosurgery, orthopedics and oncology professor at the University of South Florida, both located in Tampa. 4.
