Elon Musk, the superstar CEO of both SpaceX and Tesla , has made a startling new claim about the threat posed by the rapid growth of robotics and artificial intelligence (AI). Branding the technology “a fundamental existential risk for human civilisation,” Musk says we should introduce regulation on AI before it’s too late.
