ETAS Panel: Data Science Tops Priorities
More than half of the audience at a panel discussion on data management strategies at last week’s European Trading Architecture Summit in London, hosted by WatersTechnology, cited data science as their greatest priority, with 91 percent of the audience saying there is a need at their firms to integrate data science into their trading strategies. The results trumped stalwart issues such as legacy systems and data security, though panelists warned that with any wave of new technology and capabilities, it’s important to ensure the foundations of good data governance remain a priority.
