Changes are coming to Facebook Messenger, which will allow businesses to chat to customers using artificial intelligence (AI). Facebook chief Mark Zuckerberg has shared the company’s “10-year roadmap”, which begins with introducing artificial intelligence to allow users to chat to businesses the way they do with friends, and ends with virtual reality in reading glasses.  At the company’s annual developer conference, F8, Mr Zuckerberg announced the company was launching Messenger Platform, software that enables businesses to link to Facebook Messenger and then have customers interact with them in the same way they would with friends, using AI to give “human” responses.  “I’ve never met anyone who likes calling a business,” said Mr Zuckerberg, before showcasing examples that included a news app that can send story round-ups first thing in the morning,…
