Google aims to accelerate natural language research’s progress by sharing SyntaxNet

Digital assistants like Siri will take a long time to have ‘natural language understanding’. Many researchers and companies are working push computers towards natural language understanding. Google is at the forefront of the research in which deep neural nets are being used to identify objects in photos and recognize the individual words spoken to digital assistants. Google has even open sourced the software that acts as the foundation for its natural language work. The newly open source software is known as SyntaxNet.
