Report: Google trying to develop something akin to the chatbot marketplace run by Telegram A Wall Street Journal report has claimed Google is planning to take yet another stab at messaging, this time with an intelligent twist. Now, the company has come to a point that they want to make their search engine better and more interactive. Facebook has begun to test a personal assistant called M, which is integrated into its Messenger app, and an app called Luka now offers restaurant searches and reservations through a text-style interface or old-fashioned SMS. But now Google is lagging behind Facebook’s Whatsapp and Messenger and Tencent Holdings Ltd.’s WeChat, the most popular messaging app in China.
