Google Unveils State-of-the-Art AI Lab

In an Artificial Intelligence (AI)-focused strategy, Google has announced the launch of an AI-intensive research and educative initiative in Canada. The emerging technology innovator will provide a grant of $3.375 million to Montreal’s Institute for Learning Algorithms over a period of three years and will leverage Canada’s strong AI research community. Google also plans to set up a deep learning research group at its Montreal office.
