Alphabet Inc. GOOGL -0.34 % subsidiary Google is making the code freely available for anyone to distribute or modify, according to a company blog post on Thursday. The program is part of a larger set of software programming tools called SyntaxNet that Google is making freely available. “Our hope is that people will just use this instead of building their own,” said Dave Orr, SyntaxNet’s project manager. “They don’t have to reinvent the wheel.” SyntaxNet is the latest in many artificial-intelligence software systems to be released…
