(NEWSPLEX) — Researchers at the University of Virginia are getting ready to launch a new training program in biomedical data science thanks to a grant from the National Institutes of Health. The program is called Big Data 2 Knowledge, and the five-year grant will finance pre-doctoral training focused on teaching scientists to work at the interface of computers, science, statistics, “big data” and biomedicine.
