Hendricks, Shelton Evans

Hendricks, Shelton Evans of Omaha died at home on August 22 at the age of 75. Shelton was born and raised in New Orleans. He attended Tulane University, where he received both his undergraduate and his graduate education, culminating with a Ph.D. in behavioral neuroscience. In 1969 he moved to Omaha to accept a position as Assistant Professor of Psychology at the University of Nebraska at Omaha. He was promoted to Professor of Psychology and was also appointed Professor of Psychiatry at the University of Nebraska College of Medicine. He devoted most of his academic career to teaching and conducting research in behavioral neuroscience.
