Google (GOOGL) kicked off its developer conference Wednesday by highlighting its progress with artificial intelligence. CEO Sundar Pichai opened and closed the closely watched event at its Mountain View, Calif., headquarters by outlining the Internet giant’s research in AI and machine learning.
