Inaugural Marker Lectures in the Statistical Sciences set for April 25 & 26

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — The inaugural Russell E. Marker Lectures in the Statistical Sciences will be presented at Penn State University on April 25 and 26, 2016, by Bin Yu, the Chancellor’s Professor of Statistics and Electrical Engineering & Computer Sciences at the University of California, Berkeley.The free public lectures, sponsored by the Penn State Eberly College of Science, include a lecture intended for a general audience, titled “Movie reconstruction from Brain Signals: ‘Mind-Reading'” at 5:00 p.m. on Monday, April 25, in the Berg Auditorium, 100 Huck Life Sciences Building on the Penn State University Park Campus.
