ISTeC Distinguished Lecturers for Fall

This fall, four renowned computer science and electrical engineering educators speak on campus as part of the ISTeC Distinguished Lecture Series. These lectures will cover topics including public policy and information technology research; a science of complex data; machine learning and democracy; and grounded data mining. Three lectures will take place in October and one in December. Each will be from 11 a.m. to noon in the Morgan Library Event Hall. A reception with refreshments will precede the lectures at 10:30 a.m. Each lecturer will also speak again at a different location and time. These lectures are suitable for individuals who are generally interested in information science and technology.
