It’s Zuckerberg vs. Musk on Threat of Artificial Intelligence Doomsday

Tesla (TSLA) CEO Elon Musk fired back at Facebook (FB) CEO Mark Zuckerberg on Twitter (TWTR) Tuesday, calling his understanding of artificial intelligence “limited,” Recode reported. Musk has previously expressed his concerns that AI could destroy mankind or send humans migrating to space to escape machine overlords, calling it the “biggest risk we face as a civilization.” Zuckerberg, on the other hand, has his company working to innovate AI and even implemented an AI assistant to control his Palo Alto home. When Zuckerberg called Musk’s doomsday view of the technology “pretty irresponsible” in a Facebook Live feed Sunday, Musk tweeted a pointed response to a story about Zuckerberg’s comments.
