Jim Cramer — Nvidia Is in All the ‘Sweet Spots’

Shares of Nvidia (NVDA) are climbing 2.5% Friday after the tech company beat on earnings per share and revenue expectations.  This company “is in all the sweet spots,” TheStreet’s Jim Cramer, co-manager of the Action Alerts PLUS portfolio, said on CNBC’s “Mad Dash” segment. Those include high-growth industries including deep-learning/artificial intelligence, data centers, high-end gaming, virtual reality and self-driving vehicles.  “They just became a powerhouse on their own,” Cramer said, adding that “this was the most impressive of the semiconductor conference calls.” While companies like Nvidia and NXP Semiconductor (NXPI) continue to impress, it’s important to remember they’re profitable too — unlike the growth in semiconductor stocks in the late-1990s.  “These are real companies run by real business people,” Cramer concluded.  Nvidia shares are up more than 155% over the past…
