KHS’ valedictorian Danielle Rossell to pursue neuroscience

KNOXVILLE — The valedictorian of this year’s Knoxville High School graduating class pointed to family support for her accomplishments. Danielle Rossell, 18, of Knoxville, said support from her parents, Greg and Dorie Rossell, helped her to reach her goals. “I really give the credit to my parents. They’re very dedicated to my academics and always asking me if I need help or giving me advice for school,” she said. “It’s kind of funny because me and my dad always had a bet when I was younger that if I kept straight A’s until I was 16, he would buy me a car I always wanted. And now I have a red Mazda” in the parking lot, Rossell said with a smile. She further said a memory she will hold onto…
