Listen to the First Song Created By Artificial Intelligence
Written in the style of The Beatles. You read that right. The first-ever pop song has been written entirely by artificial intelligence. Unveiled earlier in the week by scientists at Sony’s CSL Research Laboratory, the track was composed by an artificial intelligence system called Flow Machines. Surprisingly, the song entitled, “Daddy’s Car”, seems to draw from the world of classic guitar pop or indie rock, sounding reminiscent of The Beatles or The Shins. In order to create the track, the system drew upon an enormous database of songs varying in styles, picking and pulling minuscule elements from a range of tracks.
