Most recently, he warned that without proper regulation, “AI is a fundamental risk to the existence of human civilization.” Mark Zuckerberg, the longstanding Facebook God who might be gunning for President of the United States, disagrees. In fact, he’s “optimistic.” During a Facebook Live this weekend, a commenter asked him about AI, referencing Musk. Zuckerberg replied: “I think people who are naysayers and try to drum up these doomsday scenarios—I just, I don’t understand it.
