On Tuesday, SpaceX CEO Elon Musk took to Twitter and trashed Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg’s understanding of AI. He said,”I’ve talked to Mark about this. His understanding of the subject is limited.” The reaction was to the Zuckerberg comment on Artificial Intelligence on Sunday. During a 50-minute Facebook Live Q&As session, he was asked by a viewer, “I watched a recent interview with Elon Musk and his largest fear for the future was AI. What are your thoughts on AI and how it could affect the world?” To this, the Facebook CEO replied,” have pretty strong opinions on this … I think you can build things and the world gets better, and with AI especially, I’m really optimistic. I think people who are naysayers and try to drum up these doomsday scenarios are — I just, I don’t understand it.
