Microsoft Purchases Genee, Gets Its Own Artificial Intelligence App

The world’s leading Software giant, Microsoft has purchased artificial intelligence startup company Genee, which is a smart scheduling app so as to make an effort to embed similar methodology of artificial intelligence hence to compete with its contemporaries like Google Now and Apple’s Siri. The following purchases of Genee by Microsoft will help in improving capabilities of the firm’s named Cortana. Founded in 2004, Genee is likely to shut down its operations in September thus selling off the company to Microsoft. The owners Ben Cheung and Charles Lee will join Microsoft from September 1, 2016. The respective firm specialises in using the machine which is smart to handle the time-wasting task of scheduling meetings.
