What:Survey course on the development, function and dysfunction of the cortex. When:One weekly 1½ hr lecture (Tues 3-4:30 PM) and discussion (Fri 3-4:30 PM*). Classes start Tuesday, September 6, 2016 and run through Friday, December 16, 2016. (See Syllabus for a complete list of class dates.) Where:SHM I-116* *Exception: Week 9 discussion will take place on Thursday, Nov. 10 in SHM I-304 Whom:Neuroscience students interested in learning more about cortical development, function and dysfunction. This is an elective course for INP and Neurobiology graduate students, but postdocs are also welcome. Required:All students are expected to actively participate in lectures and discussions. Discussion sections will be based on assigned papers. Students taking the course for credit will be required to turn in weekly two-page critiques of the assigned discussion papers. 2016…
