SINGAPORE: The new Institute of Data Science (IDS), which aims to contribute to Singapore’s Smart Nation initiative through research, was launched by the National University of Singapore (NUS) on Friday (May 27). The institute was established with an initial investment of S$12 million, and is expected to have about 100 researchers and staff working on data science research projects in the future.
