Oracle has five billion consumers in its identity graph

Oracle chairman and CTO Larry Ellison revealed there are five billion consumers in his company’s identify graph, comparing it favourably to Facebook’s better known consumer demographic depository. He made the comments while discussing the opportunities of machine learning, artificial intelligence and predictive analytics during the opening keynote at Oracle OpenWorld in San Francisco this week. According to Ellison, “Machine learning used to be purely a research branch for Oracle.
