PeaceHealth Southwest opens million neurosciences center

VANCOUVER, Wash., Nov. 3, 2015 – PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center is opening a new inpatient unit today, Nov. 3, exclusively for patients facing neurological challenges, including strokes, brain injuries and diseases affecting the nervous system. The Thomas and Sandra Young Neurosciences Center allows patients to receive the full spectrum of care in one area by nurses, physical therapists and physicians trained in the latest advances in neuroscience care. Donors, patients and caregivers will gather Tuesday, Nov. 3, at 5 p.m. for a blessing ceremony and tour of the center.
