Postdoctoral Fellow — Molecular and Cellular Neuroscience : New Orleans, LA, United States Louisiana State University Health Science CenterNeuroscience Center of ExcellenceNew Orleans, Louisiana Postdoctoral fellow positions funded by NSF and NIH grants are available to study the molecular and signaling mechanisms of synaptic plasticity in hippocampal, cortical and amygdala neurons, with direct relevance to experience-dependent brain functions such as learning, memory and anxiety. We use electrophysiological recordings, two-photon confocal imaging, biochemistry, molecular biology and behavioral assays to address critical questions in synaptic plasticity field.
