Postdoctoral Position in Auditory Neuroscience
A postdoctoral position is available in Baltimore in the Solomon H. Snyder Department of Neuroscience at Johns Hopkins Medical Center. Our laboratory is currently located in San Diego at The Scripps Research Institute (http://www. scripps.edu) but will relocate in July to Baltimore. The successful applicant will join an active research team that studies the development and physiology of the auditory system, with a particular emphasis on mechanosensory transduction by auditory hair cells and the formation of neural circuits underlying the perception of sound. We are also interested in genetic diseases that cause deafness. We combine a variety of approaches based in mouse molecular genetics, biochemistry, cell biology, imaging, and electrophysiology (for details see: http://www.scripps.edu/cb/mueller/).
