Project Malmo is now open source, announces Microsoft

Microsoft today has announced a public release for Project Malmo, the company’s system for testing AI software in Minecraft. The project is now open for anyone to play with, which was not the case before. The project Malmo aims to help researchers develop sophisticated and general to use artificial intelligence. Experts said that finally, artificial intelligence creations are free in Minecraft. In March, Microsoft made the system available to researchers under the name AIX.
