In fact, it would make the combined company even more competitive. Mizuho Securities analysts said the combined company would be the world’s “first end-to-end semiconductor auto supplier of the future” and would have no direct competitors of similar size. It would still compete with smaller rivals such as MediaTek, Texas Instruments, and Infineon in their respective fields.
