Report: Tech hiring strong in first half of 2016

Dive Brief:The first quarterly tech hiring trends report from Hired suggests tech hiring is still strong, despite rumors of a slowdown. Analyzing hiring data from the first half of 2016, Hired found that product management is currently the most well-paid career in technology, while data scientists received the most interview requests of any tech position. Product managers were initially offered salaries of $133,000 on average, according to Hired’s data.  Dive Insight: The news overall was positive, as companies of all sizes increased the number of interview requests they sent to Hired and initial salary offers increased by 6% since the beginning of 2016.
