Research Assistant/Associate in Computational Neuroscience
We are seeking a highly creative and motivated Postdoctoral Research Assistant/Associate in Computational Neuroscience to join the Biological Learning Group (http://blg.eng.cam.ac.uk) in the Department of Engineering, University of Cambridge, UK. The position will involve research in Computational Neuroscience in direct collaboration with Dr Guillaume Hennequin. The post holder will be located in Central Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, UK. The key responsibilities and duties are: i) conduct research in computational neuroscience, applying both mathematical and simulation-driven approaches to the study of neural circuit dynamics, and corroborating the resulting theories with neural data provided by experimental collaborators, ii) publish research outcomes in journals articles, iii) present the work at workshops/conferences, and iv) engage in collaborations with experimental laboratories (e.g. HHMI Janelia Research Campus) where appropriate.
