Research Associate – Translational Neuroscience
The Translational Neuroscience group at SRI is looking for an experienced Research Associate. The candidate will develop and validate in vivo models to investigate neuropsychiatric and neurological diseases using pharmacological and behavioral (e.g., CANTAB) approaches. The candidate will be responsible for helping to design and perform in vivo studies, analyze data, communicate study data in meetings, write reports and maintain data in a laboratory notebook. Ability to research scientific literature to help interpret experimental results and to suggest modifications of experimental procedures is important. Must maintain detailed study records in compliance with regulatory bodies (e.g. USDA, IACUC).
