Why do children go to school? At a very basic level it is for the purpose of learning to read and write as well as become aware of the world around. In the process of doing this, every child that is blessed with schooling also blossoms holistically based on the offerings that are enjoyed. I deliberately use the word ‘offerings’ in the sense of an honoured guest being ‘offered’ the due in all respects. When the guest is offered the best, then the guest begins to feel ‘at home’. I extend this analogy to every child that is enrolled in our schools.
