Salesforce.com (CRM) Stock Gains on New Artificial Intelligence Software

NEW YORK (TheStreet) — Shares of Salesforce.com (CRM) were rising in mid-morning trade on Monday after the customer relations management company unveiled Salesforce Einstein, a new artificial intelligence technology offering for its sales software. Salesforce Einstein will allow customers of the San Francisco-based company to use predictive and personalized software in sales, service, marketing, commerce and other areas, according to a company statement. The new product is a set of online services meant to automate tasks, predict behavior and highlight certain information, the Wall Street Journal reports. “Einstein is now every customer’s data scientist, making it easy for everyone to take advantage of best-in-class AI capabilities in the context of their business,” CEO Marc Benioff said.
