Samson David, Infosys Head Of Artificial Intelligence, Resigns

ADVERTISEMENT Samson David, Infosys’ Head of Artificial Intelligence Platform ‘Mana,’ and IT Infrastructure, is leaving the technology services company to join Hewlett Packard Enterprise, Mint reported. David has served as the company’s Senior Vice President and Global Head of Cloud, Infrastructure Services and Security since April 2015. He will join HP Enterprise as Senior Vice President, Enterprise Delivery. He joined Bangalore-based Infosys in 1992 and has worked across several roles including as COO of Infosys company EdgeVerve, before being appointed as the head of artificial intelligence platform Mana in April this year. David’s departure comes amid tough competition for Indian IT outsourcing companies who are trying to differentiate through automation initiatives such as the use of artificial intelligence platforms. Wipro uses AI platform ‘Holmes’, while Tata Consultancy Services has ‘Ignio’.…
