Schreyer scholar to present research paper on neural networks at international conference
Alayna Kennedy said she has long been drawn to the intersection of her fields of interest: biomedicine, engineering and computer sciences. When she was accepted into a research program on machine learning at the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs last summer, she had the chance to chase that fascination. “I wanted to do something in the realm of prosthetics, and working on bio-robotic and bio-animatronics,” Kennedy (junior – engineering sciences) said. Kennedy said this idea was too broad to explore in the two-month duration of the program.
