Senior Scientist to head Stroke Branch

The NINDS announces an exciting opportunity to head a dynamic program focused on advancing both basic and clinical science as it relates to imaging studies of stroke and traumatic brain injury.  The Division of Intramural Research is searching for an accomplished senior scientist in the area of MRI to head the imaging program of the Stroke Branch. The Stroke Branch has been productive in advancing both basic and clinical science in its laboratories and the NIH stroke service at area hospitals.  Research of the Branch includes acute stroke treatment, recovery after stroke, and stroke prevention.  In addition a new research project is underway in acute traumatic brain injury (TBI) at area hospitals in a joint research endeavor between NIH and the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences (USUHS) in…
