In this role, you will help us improve our machine learning infrastructure, including improving our predictive models and model deployment systems. The Software Engineer’s core responsibilities will involve improving the machine learning systems that score earnings call transcripts and help drive our investment research process. Mitra is a Boston-based long-short equity hedge fund focused on analyzing management’s use of language in earnings conference transcripts, using a proprietary framework with roots in the Central Intelligence Agency, to take positions ahead of earnings events.
