Syfy Orders “Machine,” “Happy,” “Haunted”

NBCUniversal-owned cable network Syfy is beefing up its roster with the announcing of three new drama series projects to join the previously announced Superman prequel series “Krypton”. All three have been ordered to pilot, they are: The MachineBased on the 2013 British science-fiction thriller by Caradog James, the story is set in a world that is being transformed by the emergence of artificial intelligence. We’ll follow the lives and motivations of six interwoven characters, each of whom holds the key to humanity’s victory or its destruction. The HauntedA supernatural horror-drama from author James Frey about four siblings who reunite following their parents’ deaths, they try to overcome their fractured personal relationships they find that they also must face the literal ghosts from their past in order to survive.
