Technician position in neuroscience lab at DANDRITE, Aarhus University
We are looking for a motivated Technician in the laboratory for Circuit Neuroscience and Behavioural Genetics at DANDRITE, the Danish Research Institute of Translational Neuroscience at Aarhus University. The position is initially on a one year fixed-term with the possibility of extension.Your responsibilities will be maintenance of Drosophila stocks, preparation of fly food, general maintenance work in the lab (e.g. media preparation, autoclaving, organizing supplies) and assistance with experiments. Depending on experience, skill and interest, you might also carry out an independent part of a research project.We are a small international lab with a friendly atmosphere. The working language is English. Previous experience in Drosophila culture, neuroscience, microscopy and/or molecular biology techniques are of advantage, but not necessarily required.
