Google Open-Sources The Machine Learning Tech Behind Google Photos Search Machine learning has been used by Google to help develop the Google Photos app, which can automatically detect people and places, and Google Translate. The web giant said TensorFlow can run on many devices, ranging from a single smartphone to an entire data centre. Google is escalating the latest arms race in Silicon Valley: artificial intelligence.
