Tenure-track assistant Professor of Large-Scale Data ScienceDepartment: Computer Science Faculty of ScienceUniversity of Copenhagen Knowledge in large-scale data analysis systems (e.g. Hadoop, Spark) is desirable. Applicants should have a lively interest in basic, theoretically well-founded research as well as interdisciplinary and industrial collaborations. Fluency in spoken and written English is required. The Assistant Professor is expected to contribute to the new Data Science Centre at DIKU and DIKU’s new Industrial Data Analysis Service, which will foster collaborations with academic and industry partners. The tenure track assistant professor’s duties will primarily include research, including obligations with regard to publication/scientific communication and research-based teaching with associated examination obligations within Large-Scale Data Science.
