Tenure-track Assistant Professor

The Biology Department and the interdisciplinary Neuroscience Program of The University of Scranton is seeking applications for a tenure-track position in neuroscience at the level of assistant professor, to begin in August 2017.  We are especially interested in neuroscience applicants with specializations that include but are not limited to neurogenetics or neuroendocrinology.  Applicants should be able to contribute to the Neuroscience Research Methods Course (hybrid lecture and laboratory 4 credit course) and to the Biology Department’s core courses and will have the opportunity to develop upper level courses in their specialty. A research program that involves mentorship of undergraduates is also expected. PhD required by start date; postdoctoral experience preferred. The Biology Department and Neuroscience Program is housed in a new state-of-the-art unified science center.
